Worm Count Test For chickens

Worm Count Test For Avians (Flock)

£25.00 per test

Our Worm Count Test For Avians (Flock) is a laboratory-based screening service designed to identify gastrointestinal nematodes (roundworms), cestodes (tapeworms), and protozoa. Performed by fully trained experts using advanced microscopy in our state-of-the-art veterinary laboratory, this specialised test delivers accurate and reliable results.

Feather plucking, diarrhoea, weight loss, and weakness are all potential signs of a gastrointestinal parasite burden in birds. Such infections can be life-threatening, yet many birds carry parasites without displaying any obvious symptoms. A worm count is the most effective way to assess parasitic infestation levels and safeguard your bird’s health.

Order our Worm Count Test Kit for Avians to check for parasites before they become a serious issue. Simply place your order online, and we’ll send you an easy-to-use kit with clear instructions for collecting a sample at home. Then, use the included prepaid envelope to send the sample back to us, and you will receive your results via email.

This screen is for up to 10  flock animals of the same species, living together and of similar age.

Order before 3pm Monday-Friday for same day dispatch, which we send on a 24 hour service. All orders over £40 and all subscriptions qualify for free delivery.

If your screen is urgent and you would prefer to send a sample directly to the lab, please contact us and we will give you a Unique Lab Reference number and help you with what to do.
